SHELL

• PB E-CLC (Regional Zone e-Complex Laminate Construction).
• Handcrafted: it can take up to five years for our experts to earn the right to create an Arai shell. Each shell can take up to 27 steps and it takes approximately 18 man-hours to build an Arai helmet.
• Wider base by 5 mm: the exclusive shell widens by 5 mm around the base, making the helmet easier to use.

SAFETY

• Glancing Off: To minimise the impact energy entering the helmet, it is vital that the helmet can glide off a surface. A round and smooth shell helps increase the helmet's ability to protect the rider during an impact.
• Double-D buckling system that provides security as well as quick.

INTERNAL

• Facial Contour System (FCS): to provide an even better fit and enhance comfort in the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System (FCS) works with a foam support spring in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds, providing the necessary support without excessive pressure.
• 5mm ''Peel Away'' Ear cups/Cheek pads and temple cushion : Giving even greater opportunity for the perfect fit and comfort, the cheek pads feature a 5mm layer that is removable for additional space if needed.
• Antimicrobial lining material.
• Replaceable cheek pads/ear capsules/Neckrol. All parts (replaceable or not) can be hand washed with lukewarm water and mild soap.
• Replaceable interior: The complete interior can be easily removed.
• Replaceable chin strap covers.
• Replaceable chin chucks: Speaker pockets, offer room for speaker placement without compromising comfort or fit. (Speaker not included).

AIR

• Quantic ventilation: integrated and controlled ventilation based on 12 ventilation ports: 6 intake, 6 exhaust.
• Arai 3D logo duct: the new 3D conductor with the Arai logo (made as thin as possible, with a depth of just 3.5 mm) feeds two central 10 mm intake ports, along with the dual upper teardrop intakes from F1. At just 50km/h it channels an additional 40% airflow, at 120km/h 7% compared to without. It can also be opened, or closed, easily with summer or winter gloves via a short-travel lever located at the top. The Arai logo duct is designed to detach on impact for improved removal capability.
• Dual inlet: Originally derived from Arai's F1 helmet, the escape ducts maintain the airflow of the previous design with a compact, lightweight and unobtrusive form that complements the round and smooth shell. They open/close by sliding to prevent water ingress.
• Chin vent: the sliding 3-position air-scoop chin vent (open, intermediate and closed). The activation mechanism is thicker and easy to use with gloves.
• Eyebrow air ducts extend to the temple area.
• Three-position chin ventilation.
• Neck ventilation.
• Lateral extractions: Produce low pressure behind the rear vent for better hot air extraction.

AERODYNAMICS

• One-piece rear spoiler with diffused function: With 3-way switch, located just forward of the shell and powered by 3 ports in the shell. As part of Quantic's integrated ventilation system, it efficiently pumps air, but also smoothes the airflow over (and out the side of) the helmet.

VISOR

• VAS-V Gelatin Locking System: Borrowed from our F1 helmet, the fully modified 3D-moving gelatin mechanism locks like never before, but operates smoothly with intuitive fluidity - one-finger operation - even with gloves on.
• PRO Shade System: the Pro Shade System is an intelligent retractable sunshade, combined with the familiar, wide-view Max Vision visor with optional Pinlock inlay lens.
• Pinlock included: effectively prevents fogging and blurring of the visor.
• New gel locking lever: Modified 3D moving gelatin locking mechanism, locks like never before, yet operates smoothly with intuitive fluid handling - with one finger - even with gloves on.

COMFORT

• Emergency Release System (ERS):By pulling the orange tabs built into the cushions, the cheek pads slide out.
• Egg-shaped chin cover (removable):Improved airflow further reduces noise.
• Breath protector: Works in conjunction with the dual-pivot® chin vent.
• Chincover (fixed): Attached to the bottom of the helmet, the chincover helps to further enhance the Egg-shape. The curtain simultaneously prevents air from entering from below and increases negative pressure. Improved airflow further reduces noise.
• Neckroll wire holder: for storing excess wire length in the neckroll.
• Intercom socket: Designed for easy installation and connection of a communication system on the outside of the shell.
